Services

If it’s your first time, we recommend arriving 10 – 15 minutes early.  That will give you enough time to park and find a seat before the service begins.

Parking

• on the street directly in front of the church
• in Walgreen’s parking lot (along fence), next door to church
• behind church on church’s parking lot accessible via Minnoka Avenue that intersects with W. Rogers Avenue

Parking available on Northern Parkway or in Walgreen’s parking lot.

We begin our service promptly at 10:45 AM to make sure we get you out on time.

Service begins promptly at 10:45 AM with prayer at the altar and ends no later than 1:30 PM.

New Solid Rock Fellowship Church welcomes everyone just as they are. Most people dress up and others dress casually. We encourage you to come the way that you feel most comfortable.

Each service is different, but there are a few things you can always expect:

• We always have music that is upbeat, fun, and contemporary, but sometimes we mix in some traditional songs. Don’t worry you don’t have to sing, but if you want to we provide lyrics so you can follow along. This portion of the service lasts about 20 minutes.
• The messages are always relevant, straight-forward, and applicable to life today. Whether you’re a Christ-follower or not, we guarantee that you’ll walk away with some helpful information. We also provide a space for you on our programs to take notes in case there’s something you want to remember.
• As part of our weekly services we do receive tithes and offerings. If you are a guest and wish to do so, please feel free to join us in this act of worship as we, through our giving, thank God for all that He has given us and provide for the continuing work of the church.

Our Sunday service generally follows the following format:

• Opening Prayer

  All are invited to the front of the church to open the service with prayer.

• Praise & Worship

  Everyone sings songs of praise and worship.

• Welcome

  Guests are welcomed and given an opportunity to share.

• Prayer

  Congregation led in corporate prayer.

• Scripture

  Congregation led in reading of scripture from the Bible.

• Fellowship Song

  Congregation sings an upbeat hymn and greet and fellowship with each other.

• Offering

  Giving of tithes and offering.

• Preached Word

  Message brought to the congregation by the pastors.

• Benediction

  Closing of service with invitation extended to join the church physically and spiritually.

As a first-time guest, you will be encouraged to fill out a First Time Visitor Card and place it in the offering basket. This helps us to stay in communication with you and let you know about all of the exciting things happening at New Solid Rock Fellowship Church throughout the year.

In addition, you will have an opportunity to meet and greet our pastors following service and receive a free gift as our way of saying, “thanks for coming!”
