Our 2025 Strategic Theme is
Awareness Across America
The American Restroom Association is excited to announce its program lineup, focused on raising awareness about the importance of accessible, clean, well-designed restrooms nationwide. Our programs include:
2025 New Website: We’ve revamped our website with a modern, user-friendly design to improve navigation and accessibility. This includes updated content, newsletter distribution and social media, and ensuring multiple donation options. Our new logo was also unveiled.
“Toilet Talk: In the John With the American Restroom Association”: Tune in to our new podcast featuring engaging conversations about restroom-related issues, design, and advocacy. We’ll host a variety of guests and explore topics relevant to public health and well-being. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
The Great American Toilet Tour: Join us on a cross-country journey celebrating existing restroom efforts and advocating for improved facilities. This tour will feature stops at various locations, meetings with community leaders, and photo documentation of restrooms for fundraising toward community impact projects. We’re seeking corporate sponsors, vehicle donations, and volunteer photographers.
Additional Initiatives: We’re also exploring a range of additional programs, including:
- An ARA Scholarship for students in related fields
- An ARA Public Restroom Certification program
- Smart Technologies and Restrooms
- Community Restroom stewardship programs
- Restroom improvement and accessibility community impact projects
- Increase Partnerships
- Advocacy efforts for disaster relief and in underserved communities
- High school outreach and education programs
- Influencer collaborations
