THE WORK.<\/h2>\n

I am blessed, and proud, to be able to contribute to our productive American economy.\u00a0 In the competitive market, many desire to acquire goods and services quickly, are high quality, and low cost.\u00a0 A perceptive business adage is,\u00a0we generally can obtain only two of the three at a time.\u00a0 For example, if we want fast and low cost, it won’t be high quality.\u00a0 If we want high quality and low cost, it won’t be fast, etc.\u00a0 I strive to strike an optimal balance, providing dimensional and layout accuracy, with a moral obligation to keep moving at a focused pace, that translates to a timely and cost-efficient effort in delivered as-built drawings.<\/p>\n

Below are a few work ethics I incorporate into my business model . . .<\/p>\n

While on site, I maintain the privacy and safety of corporate data and personal belongings, I am mindful of securing the building or space at all times, and do not share the clients\u2019 intentions with tenants or employees.<\/p>\n

All drawings are produced on site, ensuring dimensional accuracy and has built-in quality control.\u00a0 File delivery is usually emailed the same day, or within 24 hours,\u00a0of completion.<\/p>\n

My impact in an occupied space is minimal; as I use a laptop and handheld PTP laser, and can maneuver busy work environments, blending with the\u00a0employee flow.<\/p>\n

No minimum or maximum of scope; projects have ranged from 500 sf to 500,000 square feet, in all building types.\u00a0 The Time and Material instead of lump sum model, works well here.\u00a0 The client only pays for actual cost, and the specified scope.\u00a0 I like to get in, and get out, focusing only on what area needs to be identified by Owners, Managers, Tenants, Realtors, Architects, Contractors, etc.<\/p>\n

As the sole surveyor, I take full accountability for every square foot measured, recognizing the significant design and construction cost implications that can result from inaccurate as-builts.<\/p>\n

While most projects may only require basic floor plans, you can request additional data like elevations, reflected ceiling plans, sections, furniture \/ equipment layout, including all electrical \/ data outlets, switches, pull stations, thermostats, etc. as needed.<\/p>\n

Space Planning<\/b>.\u00a0 With a degree in Architecture, and having worked with several Architectural firms, I embrace the opportunity to design new layouts that will benefit future use.\u00a0 I enjoy the puzzle challenge, fitting as much of your scope within the available space, while incorporating design layers of ease of use, fire egress, flow of space, minimizing demolition, and defining public and private zones, etc.\u00a0 Proposed layouts may be a cost-efficient way to explore options, before retaining a fully registered Architect who can expand, edit, and prepare drawings for permit and construction.<\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
