the Bible<\/h2>\n

The Bible is the inspired Word of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. (2 Tim. 3:16)<\/p>\n

God<\/h2>\n

There is only one true and living God, infinite in wisdom, infinite in power, infinite in presence, and eternally existent in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Gen. 1:1; Psalm 139:8-10; Isa. 43:10; Luke 1:7; 1 Tim. 1:17; 1 John 3:20, 5:7)<\/p>\n

Jesus Christ<\/h2>\n

Jesus Christ, the second Person of the Godhead, fully God and fully man, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life among men teaching, preaching, and performing miracles, was crucified, shed His blood for the remission of sin, died and was buried, rose from the dead completing the atoning work of redemption so that all persons who believe in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life, is now seated at the right hand of God the Father making intercession for us, baptizes believers with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, and will return to this earth in power and glory. (Isa. 7:14; Matt. 28; John 1:1,2; John 3:16; Acts 1:11, 2:4; Luke 3:16; 2 Cor. 5:21; Heb. 4:15, 9:22-28)<\/p>\n

the Holy Spirit<\/h2>\n

The Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Godhead, indwells, seals, fills, empowers, guides, teaches, convicts, sanctifies, regenerates and bestows upon believers gifts that are still active in the church today so that believers can live victorious and holy lives. (John 14:16,17,26; Acts 1:8; Rom. 8:14,16,26,27; 1 Cor. 12; 2 Cor. 6:16; Eph. 1:13,14)<\/p>\n

sin & redemption<\/h2>\n

Man was created in the image of God for the purpose of bringing glory to God, but fell from grace through the original sin of Adam, and would be doomed to eternal condemnation and separation from God except for the saving grace of Jesus Christ, which individuals can receive through repentance, confession, and belief in His resurrection. (Gen. 1-3; Isa. 43:7; John 3:16; Rom. 5:10-19, 10:9; 2 Cor. 5:17)<\/p>\n

spiritual warfare<\/h2>\n

Although we are constantly at war spiritually with flesh, worldliness, and Satan our adversary, our weapons are invincible and include the Word of God, the Name and the Blood of Jesus, the fruit, the gifts, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the whole armor of God, prayer, praise, righteous living, and the unity of believers, all of which empower saints to be more than conquerors. (Acts 1:8; Rom. 8:37, 12:3-10; 1Cor. 12; 2 Cor. 10:4; Gal. 5:22,23; Eph. 6; Phil. 2:10; Heb. 4:12; 1Pet. 5:8)<\/p>\n

the great commission<\/h2>\n

Christians are mandated to be witnesses for Jesus Christ and share the Gospel with the unsaved. (Matt. 28:19,20)<\/p>\n

ordinances of the church<\/h2>\n

The two ordinances of the church are Baptism by immersion representing an association of the believer with Christ\u2019s death, burial and resurrection and the Lord\u2019s Supper as a remembrance of the Lord\u2019s death until He comes again. (Acts 8:38; Matt. 3:16; Rom. 6:3-5; Col. 2:12; 1Cor. 11:23-28)<\/p>\n

end times<\/h2>\n

Christ will return for His Church and the dead in Christ and the saints who are alive will be caught up to meet Him in the clouds and reign with Him in heaven until He returns to earth for His millennial reign and the judgment of Satan and sinners.
