Museum Hours
The Museum is open on Saturdays year-round ─ 10am-4pm
Open June, July, and August Wed-Fri – 10am-4pm
The museum occasionally has additional special hours outside those listed above, such as for the Holiday Season. Please be sure to check our Google Profile or Facebook Page or call to check on these specialized hours.
*Closed on New Year’s Day, 4th of July, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Accessibility
The Fire Museum of Maryland is committed to providing a safe, educational, and fun atmosphere for all our visitors. As part of our interpretation program, the museum uses bells that can be loud, or come with no warning. In recognizing the needs of those visitors who have sensory processing issues Pathfinders for Autism has generously donated noise-canceling headphones. These are available at the admission desk upon entering the museum upon request.
The Museum is also fully handicap accessible. Should there be any assistance needed, the Museum keeps a wheelchair on hand for visitors to use. Handicap parking is also available. Should you have any questions, don’t hesitate to call.

FROM THE NORTH (New York, Philadelphia, Wilmington): I-95 South to I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) towards Towson. Exit 26B (York Road/Lutherville). Turn right at the second traffic light (Greenridge Road). Second driveway entrance on the left takes you to the Museum parking lot.
FROM THE SOUTH (Washington, Richmond): I-495 (Capital Beltway, Washington, DC) to I-95 North to I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) towards Towson. Proceed to Exit 26B (York Road/Lutherville). Turn right at the third traffic light (Greenridge Road). Second driveway entrance on the left takes you to the Museum parking lot.
